The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has confiscated 56 million CAD ($40M USD) in digital assets from TradeOgre, marking the largest crypto seizure in the nation's history. Investigators dismantled the exchange's Canadian infrastructure after a yearlong probe initiated by Europol intelligence.

Authorities seized servers in Quebec's Montérégie region that facilitated TradeOgre's operations. This represents Canada's first police-led shutdown of a cryptocurrency exchange platform. The RCMP's money laundering unit executed the operation following the exchange's alleged failure to register with financial regulators.
